Showered again!

A great group of ladies (and babies) in the NYC area threw me a fabulous bridal shower last weekend. Good food, drinks, and generosity abounded.

Prayers for friends unmet

I love the internet. Through it I've made friends with many people I probably never would have crossed paths with otherwise. Some of those I've eventually met in person, some not.

One of my earlier "online-only" friends was/is Sarah Parker. We have a mutual "in-person" friend, Tracey, and Sarah and I became online-friendly via Tracey's blog and eventually Facebook. Now, even though I've never met Sarah or her family, I'm feeling very personally affected by the struggle her family is going through right now.

Sarah and her husband have three kids -- twin boys (7, I think?) and 4-year-old Trinity. Trinity is in the hospital now fighting for her life. Read about her struggle (and see what a cutie she is) here.

I'm not even much of a praying sort, and I'm still praying for Trinity and the rest of the Parkers. If you're reading this, I hope you will too.
