Finally, at home

I don't know if I mentioned it here, but I moved yet again; the Dude and I bought a single-family home together and moved into it out of his bachelor-pad townhouse. Not that I didn't like the townhouse; I really loved it in a lot of respects. But we were just bursting at the seams. OK, OK -- my stuff and I were causing it to burst at the seams. I mean, really, two people and three cats should have been able to live comfortably in a three-bedroom, three-level townhouse, right? Yeah, well, you haven't seen how much stuff I have.
So we're really doing the suburbs thing now, which we both had wanted to eventually do anyway. Single-family house, two-car garage, deck, yard, closet space, driveway, lawnmower, the whole bit. No white picket fence or 2.5 kids (yet). (Well, probably never re the fence.)
Here are some pics of things we've done to the house so far:

The cake pictured at the top was made and decorated by the Dude's mom.

CONGRATULATIONS!
OK. I am just checking up on you via your blog. You moved. Do I have your new address? If not, send it to me. I am about to send out Christmas cards. :)
